Dear Greatest inventor-Category-Toys prize,

I would like to formally announce that Erno Rubik, the inventor of the Rubiks, should undoubtedly be nominated for the greatest toy of the 21st centry. His creation is in the top 4 best-selling, with over 1 million Rubik's cubes have been sold over its time on the market. And this is only the original Rubik's brand cubes. There are also speed cubes, which are sold online and dollar store cubes.

The Rubik's cube should be awarded this award because it is easy to solve, but still has an utter amount of complexity, so it is almost a perfect puzzle. The cube can scrambled into 43 quintillion ways an can be solved in around 5 minutes. But the best can solve it in under 10. But they can do this because the toy is so addictive that you can't put it down. It is also has so many other puzzles branching off the 3x3, like the 4x4, 2x2 and hundreds more.

This toy that Erno Rubik made is also a great way to socialize and make amazing friends. You may not know what how, thought. Well, there are official WCA(World Cube Association) competitions where you can meet many people at. Even though they are called competitions, it really is and event where people meet and have a fun time. But there are also people who take this seriously and there are world records that can be set.

Erno Rubik should be nominated because his creation has impacted so many people. Sure other toys like dolls can effect you by making you happy, but the Rubik's cube has changed multiple people's lives. For some, it has given them jobs, like workers and sponsorships, but for others, it has made them better people. And that is thanks to the Rubiks cube. The Rubik's cube can also impact you by helping your muscle memory, help you play a musical instrument and even help you ride a bike. The Rubiks cube can be more than just a puzzle. It can be a life changer, and very little toys can do that.

I believe that Erno Rubik should be chosen for this prize because his puzzle can be complex but easy, it can be a single player toy or a social event and it could be a hobby or a job. The Rubiks cube is undoubtedly the best toy that has ever been created and you would be wrong not to choose Erno Rubik for this award.

Yours Sincerely

Adrian Kwan
